The JO Foundation was founded out of an inspiration to advance my passion for raising quality manpower beyond the Hospitality industry as I’ve been doing all through my career in the Hospitality industry, through my organisation, Calabar Hospitality House Limited (CHH).

Exposing teenagers to Entrepreneurial skills through the Teens with Skills Project.

We provide opportunities for graduates to gain employability skills and volunteer for experience.

About Us

A Non-Governmental Organization

The Justina Ovat Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2019 with a keen interest for social development in Cross River State, Nigeria. The work of the Justina Ovat Foundation is not limited to entrepreneurship, employability and enterprise development but could also engage in other social activities that align with its vision. The foundation will advance in the coming years with some precise partnership activities and administrative structure as a project based development organization.

The Foundation has been working on various social development activities through competency building, gender equality and youth development so as to empower and ensure the security of the livelihood of youth, women and teenagers. At present, the Foundation is implementing various development programs with success in Cross River State.

Teens With Skills Project

TEENS WITH SKILLS PROJECT is a unique & powerful, personality, self-development leadership program exclusively designed for the ‘Young Adult’ between the ages of 15 to 18 years.

GEVEP

The Graduate Employability and Volunteer for Experience Program aims to engage young persons who graduated not more than 5 years to empower them to become choice candidates for job opportunities.

Ideation Series

The Ideation Series is a one-day event that is held in commemoration of the international Women’s day. The one year ideation fellowship begins to count from that day.
